GC Fuji IX is specifically formulated as a conventional setting glass ionomer cement intended for the restoration of posterior cavities using the ART method. The kit includes both powder and liquid for hand mixing the cement, along with varnish to safeguard the cement after it has been applied and set. The Fuji IX liquid also serves as a cavity conditioner to be used prior to placement, ensuring the best chemical bond between the restoration and the cavity walls.
