Kids-e-Dental BioFlx Crowns are the first flexible, durable, self-adjusting, and aesthetically pleasing pre-formed crowns designed specifically for children, merging the benefits of stainless steel and zirconia crowns. Created by a pediatric dentist from India, these crowns provide a groundbreaking alternative for tooth-colored restorations in pediatric dentistry. BioFlx crowns are ideal for offering complete coverage restoration in cases of significant tooth decay, fractured or broken teeth, hypoplastic teeth, and teeth with developmental irregularities. They are also appropriate for restoring damaged or decayed primary teeth when less invasive treatments fall short. These crowns employ self-adaptive technology, enabling them to modify themselves in areas of slightly elevated occlusion. With a radiopacity of about 1mm, they facilitate a clear assessment of crown edges and pulp capping materials. Laser markings on the inner occlusal surface provide easy identification and enhance overall aesthetics. Their strong yet flexible design allows for straightforward placement and a secure fit, while the sandblasted intaglio surface improves retention with self-setting RMGI and GI cement. BioFlx crowns can be installed using a bite stick, and if necessary, can be trimmed with crown and bridge scissors.
