Description
Ivoclar Vivadent's Tetric N-Ceram Bulk Fill is a packable, light-curing composite resin used to restore posterior teeth. It belongs to the Tetric N-Collection, which has been nano-optimized. When the cavity is up to 4 mm thick, Tetric N-Ceram allows posterior teeth to be restored with just one layer. The filling's full cure is ensured by the use of a patented light initiator called "Ivocerin." The Ivocerin polymerization booster is significantly more reactive than traditional light initiators and activators. To lessen shrinkage and shrinkage stress, a conditioned shrinkage stress reliever has been added.
This light-cure composite can be filled in increments of 4 mm and cured using blue light with a wavelength between 400 and 500 nm. This is a great way for dentists to save a lot of chair time.
