Conventional double slot orthodontic bracket
The conventional double slot bracket-dsc has two slots centered on the body of the
piece, one 0.018” ant the other 0.022” (bidimensional).
The use of two wires at the same time provides numerous mechanical possibilities.We can work with arches of varying thickness and different alloys.
It does not mean that we will always use two wires, we can only work with one bow, as in traditional orthodontics, but even so we can obtain different mechanics.
Because the presence of two slots allows us to create a variation of these by performing vertical movements in a simple and controlled way.
